A Civil Aircraft Is Flying over Lhasa Kongga International Airport and the YT42 Aerial Turntable Ladder Fire Truck is on Duty

YT42 aerial turntable ladder fire truck or YT42 is developed by Shenyang Jietong fire truck Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Shenyang Jietong), one subsidiary of CIMC Tianda. It was recently put into use at Lhasa Kongga International Airport for the first time, where the latitude is high and the temperature is extremely low on the snowy plateau. It is the first domestic aerial fire truck operating above 40 meters in height.

YT42 has the advantages of high power, high volume, high tank capacity and rapidly extended ladder frame, and it can quickly transfer the trapped staff in the cage to a safe place. As the leading aerial turntable ladder fire truck in China and one of the most advanced elevating firefighting apparatus in the world, this kind of truck can be widely used in airports, towns, petrochemical companies and other mid and high-rise places for firefighting and rescue.

YT42 also performs quite well in cage (platform) leveling since it adopts mechanical hydraulic driven leveling, which promises higher precision and stability. As the ladder frame is extended to 42 meters high, it only swings slightly. When compared to its imported counterparts that relying on electro-hydraulic control leveling, it is more reliable with fewer electric control components and lower failure rate. With higher tank capacity and higher volume of fire pump and fire monitor, it can ensure better extinguishing effect.

Shenyang Jietong has more than 40 years of professional experience in fire truck production. It is one of the major elevating truck manufacture bases in China and also the birthplace of aerial hydraulic platform fire truck, aerial turntable ladder fire trucks and water & foam tower fire trucks.

The company’s elevating fire apparatus occupies more than 50% of the domestic market, ranking first in China. Its market share in the country’s petroleum and petrochemical industry, at more than 95%, has shown that it is highly recognized for professionalism and product safety.
