World’s first Hampton by Hilton adjoining a racecourse opens

Recently, the Hampton By Hilton located within Hamilton Park Racecourse opened its doors. Princess Anne attended the opening ceremony and inaugurated the hotel. It is noteworthy that the hotel is built with prefabricated modules and the world’s first Hampton By Hilton in a racecourse. Robertson was the general contractor for the constructional engineering of the hotel, and CIMC Modular Building System Co., Ltd. (CIMC MBS) provided all building modules.

Hampton By Hilton is a brand of chain of hotels trademarked by Hilton Worldwide. Currently, it has a global portfolio of 1,900 hotels. The newly opened hotel is the first property to adjoin the racecourse in its history.

Hampton By Hilton Hamilton Park is a single four-floor modular building: the first floor is traditional steel-structure public spaces for lobby, restaurants and parking lot and a small number of guestrooms; the second to the fourth floors are 112 rooms built with 60 units of prefabricated modules. CIMC MBS shipped all modules in November 2018 and completed the assembly and erection at the end of July 2019. The building layout, decoration design and material selection of the hotel were similar to those of Hampton By Hilton D2 Business Park, a modular hotel built and delivered by CIMC MBS at Aberdeen City, Scotland. The newly open hotel is another classic standard and modular building masterpiece of Hampton By Hilton.
