Another Three Companies of CIMC were Selected as National-Level Specialized, Refined, Unique and Innovative “Little Giants”

Recently, the list of the sixth batch of national-level specialized, refined, unique and innovative “Little Giant” enterprises was announced. Three member companies of CIMC Enric, a subsidiary of CIMC Group, namely Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CIMC SOE"), CIMC Liquid Process Technologies Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “CLPT”) and Zhangjiagang CIMC Sanctum Cryogenic Equipment Machinery Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CIMC Sanctum"), were selected, which demonstrates high recognition and affirmation at the national level.

To date, CIMC Group has a total of 16 national-level specialized, refined, unique and innovative “Little Giant” enterprises, creating a multi-field and multi-level development pattern for the Group.

National-Level Specialized, Refined, Unique and Innovative “Little Giants”

It is understood that a national-level specialized, refined, unique and innovative “Little Giant” enterprise must meet criteria in six dimensions: specialization, refined management, uniqueness, innovative capacities, supply chain, and main product category, which mainly refers to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with characteristics of specialization, refinement, uniqueness, and innovation. These SMEs have long been focused on and deeply engaged in a certain link in the industrial chain or a particular product, boasting unique advantages in innovative technologies and products, and play an important role in “strengthening areas of weakness”, “highlighting the strengths” and “filling gaps” in the crucial links of the industrial chain.

The successive recognition of member companies of CIMC Group as national-level specialized, refined, unique and innovative “Little Giants” reflects the Company’s strong capabilities in innovation, expertise, and market competitiveness.

CIMC SOE

As a global leader in the niche market of small to medium-sized LNG, LPG, LEG, and liquid ammonia carriers, CIMC SOE possesses independent design, construction, and project management capabilities for liquefied gas carriers, refueling vessels, and marine fuel tanks, holding a leading market share globally.

In the first half of 2024, CIMC SOE secured orders for 12 new ships, including four 40,000-cubic-meter LPG/liquid ammonia carriers and eight LNG carriers and LNG bunking vessels. Its backlog of orders has been scheduled for production until 2028.

Relying on its self-developed capabilities, CIMC SOE continuously realizes technological innovation and upgrading of marine fuel tank equipment. It completed the first application of high-manganese steel materials in the domestic marine fuel tank field and the deliveries of new types of stainless steel marine LNG (ammonia/methanol reserved) fuel tanks and the world's first v vertical binaural fuel tanks, continuously contributing to the green upgrades of the global shipping industry.
