CIMC Cold Cloud Supported the Export of One Million Doses of the First Domestic 13-Valent Pneumococcal Vaccine

Recently, one million doses of 13-Valent Pneumococcal Polysaccharide Conjugate Vaccine (“13-Valent Pneumococcal Vaccine”) in the intelligent medical cold-chain temperature control boxes of CIMC Cold Cloud arrived in Morocco in batches. The vaccine, independently developed by Walvax Biotechnology, is the first 13-Valent Pneumococcal Vaccine in China and the second 13-Valent Pneumococcal Vaccine in the world. Such export is the first export of the vaccine after its marketing.

It is known that the 13-Valent Pneumococcal Vaccine was approved for marketing in 2019, ending the monopoly held by foreign enterprises for more than a decade. The vaccine has been included in the expanded immunization program in Morocco to protect millions of children from life-threatening diseases.

CIMC Cold Cloud provided temperature control packaging solutions for the one million doses of the pneumonia vaccine with a total weight of 80 tons delivered to Morocco. CIMC Cold Cloud XT series of passive cooling and temperature control boxes feature a large body and light weight, high loading rate, easy loading and unloading at the bottom of the tray, and temperature control duration of more than 150 hours. This product also has many high-quality service cases in the export of domestically produced COVID-19 vaccines and reagents, and is more suitable for lengthy cold chain transportation of vaccines or medicines in large quantities.
