On 11th August, 2011, a delegation from A.P. Moller - Maersk paid a visit to CIMC Raffles in Yantai. Consisting of four leaders from Maersk: Mr. Steen S. Karstensen, Chief Procurement Officer of Maersk Group; Mr. Per Bagge Angelo, Vice President in Engineering and Projects of Maersk Oil; Mr. Michael Skyum, Senior Director of Maersk Group; and Mr. George Zhang, General Manager of Maersk Group Procurement Greater China, the delegation received a warm welcome from Mr. Mai Boliang, Chairman of the Board and CEO of CIMC Raffles, and Mr. Yu Ya, President of CIMC Raffles.
After visiting the exhibition hall, Taisun crane and deep water berth, the delegation also got the picture of ongoing projects from CIMC Raffles. The two parties later hold a meeting, and carried out extensive exchanges in terms of further developing new business and seeking cooperation. As the key strategic partner for CIMC Group, A.P. Moller – Maersk has a good cooperative relationsihip with the Group, in the fields of global shipping, logistics, oil, etc.
