On December 20, 2007, Mr. Liu Zhi, G.M. of China Petroleum Transportation Corporation (CPTC), and his team paid a visit to CIMC headquarter. The two parties signed strategic cooperation agreement. President Mai Boling, vice president Li Yinhui, and vice secretary Yu Ya received the distinguished guests.
Before signing the agreement, the leaders from two parties held a talk in Meeting Room 806. G.M. Liu Zhi introduced in detail the development process of CPTC since 2000, which grew from bad management to stable development, from a small company in Xinjiang to a large-scale firm with business overseas. Manager Liu said, ¡°With 10,000 transport vehicles, CPTC currently has developed into one of the largest dangerous goods and road transport companies in China. Aiming to be a comprehensive logistics company, CPTC will endeavor to explore new business opportunities, to enrich its main business of transporting refined oil for PetroChina and other cargos.¡±
President Mai Boling admired the recent achievements of CPTC and had heated discussion with Manager Liu about transport management. President Mai remarked: ¡°As a large-scale transport enterprise, CPTC stands for the future development of China¡¯s road transport. Since CIMC is a supplier for whole series of road transport vehicles, it should enhance comprehensive cooperation with CPTC to jointly make contribution to intensive, extensive and international development of China¡¯s logistics industry. During the sincere communication, two parties also reached agreements about high-level visits, international communication and joint construction of corporate culture.
After the talk, Manager Liu Zhi and President Mai Boling, on behalf of their respective company, signed Strategic Cooperation Agreement between CPTC and CIMC, and presented gifts to each other.
