On the morning of Dec. 13, CIMC president Mai Boling was invited to “Shenzhen’s Implementation of Brand-driven Strategies Conference & Shenzhen Commendation Conference for Top Brands” held in Shenzhen Civilian Center. Shenzhen mayor Xu Zongheng, vice mayor Zhuo Qinrui and other municipal leaders attended the meeting. On the conference, Shenzhen municipal government issued “The Statement for Commending All Shenzhen Enterprises Honored China World Brand, China Top Brand, China Well-known Brand and Most Competitive Brand in 2007”.
CIMC was really fruitful in brand achievements this year. It was honored “China World Brand” and “China Top Brand” successively, the only Shenzhen enterprise which received “China World Brand” in 2007. Mayor Xu Zongheng himself delivered awards for CIMC.
Mayor Xu Zongheng announced that Shenzhen municipal government gave RMB 3 million bonus to CIMC for its achievement in “China World Brand”, and other enterprises honored “China Top Brand” or “China Well-known Brand” could attain a bonus of RMB 1 million. Mayor Xu further explained that Shenzhen municipal government was determined to encourage enterprises to improve quality management, to strengthen core competitiveness and to enhance innovation capability. Mayor Xu stressed that Shenzhen must implement “Brand-driven” strategy and develop a group of competitive brands, to build itself into an internationalized city with profitable growth.
CIMC president Mai Boling made a speech on behalf of all awarded enterprises. He pointed out that brand is the general representation of enterprise strength and it also shows to us how our enterprise and products are recognized by customers; in this economic globalization, CIMC will do its utmost to consolidate its core competitiveness to create more values for global customers; meanwhile, CIMC will also speed up brand plan and promote professional brand operation to grow into a world-class enterprise in the near future.
